Now, In Christ Jesus

The leading and closing declarations in Paul's list of miserable separations in verse 12 are "without Christ" and "without God". What a dark life! What a fearful eternity! However, Paul had good news: "But now in Christ Jesus you...are made nigh". Being a proselyte didn't save the soul, it merely changed religions. However, "now" that Christ has poured out His blood, the way of acceptance is completed.
