Our Pastor Emeritus, David M. Atkinson, uses an "object lesson" (he does not encourage believers to speak of gospel "magic") to illustrate how AND WHY the Lord miraculously met the needs of the widow of Zarephath. The 4th-6th grade students - though innoculated by the allure of video games and"fantasy" - responded to the illustration with surprise and wonder!
