What is it like to be a Christian? What does it mean to know God as your God?

David answers those questions in a way that invites every believer to enter in and exalt the Lord with him.

He begins with earnest recommendations: taste, see, trust, fear, seek the Lord. He makes a tragic comparison with the young lions, relying on themselves, who lack and suffer hunger. He brings a joyful conclusion, that the Lord, who is good and does good, blesses his people and bestows the richest favours on all who look to him.
