Unwavering Faith In Action

After facing opposition from unbelieving Pharisees and scribes, Jesus withdraws from the crowds and then heads north, away from them to the Gentile territory of Tyre and Sidon along the Mediterranean Sea. Here, He encounters a gentile woman who pleads with Him on behalf of her daughter. Jesus' response to the disciples and the consequent dialogue with the woman invites us to see the woman's unwavering Faith and Jesus' willingness to accept and commend those who trust Him, even though they may be outsiders.

Unwavering Faith does not give up even when it is difficult or when other people want you to stop. Unwavering Faith is great Faith because it persistently focuses on Jesus Christ.
