6. Jesus, Lord of all Nations

Jesus is the true Man, and the Father has made him Lord over all creation. Today as enthroned Lord he is fulfilling the mandate to humanity, 'being fruitful, multiplying and filling' the earth, and subduing and having dominion over all the nations. This is with the goal of 'delivering the kingdom to God the Father' so that 'God may be all in all' (1 Cor. 15:24,
28), among all the nations. Jesus, the true Adam, fulfills this through his Bride the Church in the power of the Spirit, by the Word. In Athens, we see the reversal of Babel continuing as idolaters are restored by faith in Christ to true sons and daughters – true image bearers – of the Father.
