Grace: The Proper Response To Sin

Thesis: How do we process situations biblically where someone is caught in sin?

1. APPROACHIMG SINNING BELIEVER

   • care/concern
   • encourage towards opposite of sin
   • desire to disciple, not "purify"
   • seek to restore, not "cleanse"

2. ATTITUDE TOWARDS SIN

   • i.e. body pain = need healing, not
     amputation
   • Help get someone out of the ditch,
     not bury them in it
   • bear one another's burdens

CONCLUSION: We are to bring the gospel to sinful situations, not condemnation
