The Brightness of His Glory

The origin of salvation does not lie in man's desperate need. Man is not the center of salvation; the glory of God is at the center of salvation. We either have grace to love God supremely, or the deceitfulness of sin to despise Him. The book of Hebrews contains the highest themes, the greatest exhortations, yet the sternest warnings. In Hebrews 1, Christ shines forth in the perfections of His glory. We must learn more of Christ, and make much of Christ!
