A Promised Prophet

Have you ever had the privilege of introducing someone you love or respect to others? I still remember introducing Sarah to my parents. I was a little nervous, but more excited than anything. That is something I looked forward to!

Who would God choose to introduce His Son to the world? What is the significance of the setting, and surroundings as He does this? And what significance does this have to our lives today? Does this affect our lives today or just those in the first century?

We will look at this Sunday as we see Jesus' baptism and consider the need for repentance in our own lives.
