A Change of Heart

There are only two kinds of hearts: sadly stunted or abundantly flourishing.

1. Change of heart: from stone to flesh. The heart-sins of idolatry and self-trusting defile everything, while true heart-obedience and fruitfulness in everything during times of crisis is only possible by trusting THE LORD. (v.1-13)
2. The heart of a leader. Jeremiah was impacted by his own message. He faithfully shepherded the people and they persecuted him. (v.14-18)
3. A heart test. God's gift of a day of rest is an abiding command that reliably indicates our spiritual health. (v.19-27)
