Psalm 37:23 says The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.. George Muller would add.. "and his stops too". The Lord guides us into the things He would have us do.. But He also stops us from doing things we should not do.. for which we need be grateful.. as seen here in David's life . It is an example and lesson to us.
