The Third Commandment

Proposition: God manifests His glory and goodness by His name, so carefully honor it and call upon Him in faith.

Please take a moment to reflect upon the Third Commandment in Exodus 20:7–" You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain."
God's name is holy and He is grieved when His name is used as an expletive or frivolously or in falsehood. We as His people must be those who show due honor to His name.
