First Giving Of Thanks

Paul, Silas, and Timothy begin by reporting on their perspective
on the work that God has done in Thessalonica. They are overjoyed at the saving love of God that has transformed the lives of the people there in this brand-new congregation. They cannot help but respond to God's work by thanking Him. In this they not only encourage true churches who are united to Christ and walking in the teaching of the Apostles but also show us how to respond when God plants a church.
