How to Undeceive a Desire

Desires are good in their place, but when one of them stages a coup and takes the throne, it will direct you to sin in pursuit of fulfillment. That happens through deception – deception about sin (thinking it will bring life instead of death), deception about good gifts (thinking you can get them from a source other than God), and deception about God (failing to see Him as a generous Father, glorious Creator, and willing Life-giver).
