The Rock of Our Salvation

God's command to worship him with joy, reverence, and perfect obedience is more than we can bear in our discouraged and sinful state. Nevertheless, his Son has become the rock of our salvation, removing our sins through his death and giving us his righteousness through perfect obedience. Therefore, in light of Christ, we can enter God's presence knowing that we will find mercy and grace for our discouraged hearts.
