The Rider on the White Horse

Sermon: Revelation 19:11-21

Introduction:
Who is the bridegroom coming to meet His bride? How is He described and what does He do?

I. Who He is?
v. 11 – “heaven opened”
v.11 – “white horse”
v. 11 – “Faithful and True”
v. 12 – “eyes like a flame of fire”
v. 12 – “many diadems”
v. 13 – “robe dipped in blood”
v. 13 – “the Word of God”
v. 14 – “armies of heaven”
v. 15 – “sharp sword from His mouth”
v. 16 – “Lord of lords and King of kings”
II. What does He do?
v. 11 – “in righteousness judges and makes war”:

“the battle” (cf. 20:8)

v. 15 –

v. 16 ff - birds

III. Verses 20,21 point to the judgment that takes place.
