From Trials to Wisdom

Suffering and perseverance are required for maturity. The testing of faith with trials refines it, and makes it a strong, persevering faith. All perseverance stems from trusting God (believing Him when He says His way is better). Wisdom comes only through persevering prayer. So when we suffer we must consider it pure joy (rather than pure misery as in self-pity), and let perseverance finish its work.
