James the Slave
Series Suffering, Tests, &Temptation
96
James was written to Jewish believers outside Israel (because it was before the gospel reached the Gentiles) but the message to Jewish believers and Gentile believers is identical, so it all applies to us. James was Jesus’ brother, who did not believe during Jesus life nor when the tomb was empty, but after Jesus appeared to him he believed. That transformation is powerful proof of the resurrection, and should do away with our doubts.
