The Value of Christian Evidences
Series Day with WMI
In the final message of the Fourth Annual Day with Whitcomb Ministries, Dr. John Whitcomb gives a forthright presentation of the values, as well as the limitations, of the use of evidences from various fields of study in seeking to persuade others of the truthfulness of Holy Scripture. He shows two possible extremes to avoid -- rationalism on the one side, and mysticism on the other. Even a child, Dr. Whitcomb tells us, can be an effective witness for the Lord God, if he or she is committed to God's ultimate circle of truth. Dr. Whitcomb also tackles the Intelligent Design Movement in this sermon, and gives examples from the lives of both the Apostle Paul and the prophet Jonah as to how we are to handle the objective, eternal truths of God's Holy written Word here in this dark and dangerous world.
