Isaiah has told King Ahaz to be firm in the faith and ask for a sign. Ahaz rejects the offer which is sinful unbelef. Ahaz wearies the Lord who is subborn toward the Lord. God reveals with a stunning call, "Behold" a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, she shall call his name Immanuel - the mighty God with us. Who else can this be but Jesus?
