Facts about the calling of God upon a Christian

1. All Christians are "partakers of the heavenly calling" (Hebrews 3:1-2) The calling "of God" is irrevocable (Romans 11:29)
2. Saints are called "out of darkness" and "into his marvellous light" (1 Peter 2:9)
3. We are called "by his grace" (Galatians 1:15)
4. We are called "into the grace of Christ" (Galatians 1:9)
5. This "holy calling" is not according to our works, but his purpose and grace" (2 Timothy 1:9)
