Many in the Church do not experience grief for sand that moves them to repentance. (The Problem) para 2 (Isaiah 6:9-10)
The work of Christ's Spirit brings genuine brokenness over our sin. (The Correction)
a. There are 2 forms of grief; godly and ungodly. [2 Corinthians 2:15-17]
b. Godly grief is used for building up, NOT tearing down. [2 Corinthians 13:8-9]
c. Godly grief has repentance as its goal. [2 Corinthians 7:14-16]
d. Repentance is the fruit of the redeeming work of God. [Acts 3:19-21]'s
e. Refraining from ungodly behavior produces a life lived boldly. [2 Timothy 2:22-26]
We MUST NOT just feel sorry for what we have done; we MUST repent of our sin. (The Follow-Through) para 5
