In Christ Alone: Rejecting All Manmade Religion in Order to Have Christ

The same Christ who called us and freed us is the only One who can grow us and make us effective in the Christian life. But, resting in Christ for this must be resting in Christ alone for this. To try to mix in the ideas or strength of man is to have Christ Himself profit us nothing.
