🗡️ Sermon delivered at Pilgrim Baptist Church on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at 11:15 am 🗡️

This expository sermon is based on Romans 7:1-4.

It is designed to help you understand the believers' relationship to the law through the picture of a wife loosing her 1st husband through death.

Death dissolves the marriage law from binding her to her dead husband. She is now free to be married to another.

This sermon looks carefully as the comparison between this woman and the believer in Christ.

There is a 2-fold union in Romans 7:4 that helps us understand why Christ died.

In many ways, the heart of the gospel is found in Romans 7:4, when understood properly.
