What stands out in Mary's Song is her Scripture focus. She lived in a time when Scripture was passed down by an oral tradition…only a few saw the written Scriptures. She hid the Scriptures that she heard in her heart. Her song has nothing to do with what she did; rather, what God has done for the redemption of His people.
