He describes the moment he first experienced salvation in February of 1943 at Princeton University, the desire to know the Scriptures which followed, and the impact that Dr. Donald Fullerton, his spiritual father, had upon his life. God kept Dr. Whitcomb even through his time in Europe in World War II, where he served in the 84th Infantry Division.
