Jesus, The Anointed One

Tonight our Catechism teaches us of the title "Christ," which means "the Anointed One."
When we use this title in speaking about Jesus, we must keep in mind our Lord's three-
fold office of prophet, priest, and king; for in so doing we will appreciate even more all
that our Lord had to accomplish in order to be our perfect Savior.

   Jesus perfectly fulfills them all.

2. Both our Text and Question and Answer 32 explain how we ourselves are
   called to take on this three-fold office and to live it out in our lives.
