When Jesus sits to eat Passover with his disciples for the last time, Mark records only two events: Christ addressing his betrayer, and Christ instituting the Lord's Supper. Mark presents this meal in this way because he is showing us that Christ is indicating that he is the true Passover Lamb who saves us from the wrath of God.
