Galen Shinkle(Modern Day Robin-Hood) VBS 2008

Galen Shinkle was our quest speaker and Modern Day Robin-hood for our VBS 2008.He shared his testimony with the kids and put on a great archery display of his many years of experience with a Bow.Galen had won many titles for Archery in Florida.His lovely wife Ruth would always accompany him on his many travels to promote Archery through out all the states. I have always treasured his friendship and many long hours of going to state Parks and different churches and outdoor events for one of the greatest loves of his life. Galen is a fine Christian man who has always set a great example in front of the public eye. I have saw him teach native America kids and youngsters from all walks of like about the basic's of shooting and safety.Galen has performed some of the most amazing trick shooting archery in the world. He made the Guinness Book of World Records in 1989 for hitting 10 bulls eyes in a six-inch disk in 60 seconds, while hanging upside down from his friend's teeth. The Greatest bullseye that was ever shot was when Galen opened his heart to Jesus Christ. He is a traveler, Exhibitionist,professional archery Expert, world record holder and amazing man of God. Galen has been around some of the best shots in Archery such as Byron Ferguson and Randy Oitker.
