Joseph

This passage shows us Joseph's obedience to and honor of God through faith, apart from the Law. In this we see a picture of Christ who saved his people through grace. Christ, the Son of God came as a man in the flesh to suffer for his people and obtain their redemption by his death and resurrection. He was given by the Father for Sinners, and Sinners therefore rejoice in his coming.
