Sent to Save

The life of Joseph was lived in the interest of God's purpose that he serve and save others at great cost to himself. He did so without bitterness or resentment. In this way Joseph foreshadows an even greater one who was sent to serve and save, the Lord Jesus Christ. Our worship of Christ is most clearly expressed when we follow in his footsteps.
