Avoiding Self-Deception

Your only protection from wicked self-deception is God's mercy; trust him to preserve you and fill you with delights.

1. The wicked flatters himself that God is unconcerned with his evil. (1-4)

2. The frightening thing is that you stand on the brink of a similar self-deception. (11-12)

3. In the face of self-deception, trust in the inestimable mercy of God to preserve you. (5-7)

4. God not only preserves you but also fills you with life and light. (8-9)

5. Apart from God's mercy, you are crushed; trust Him.
