The Nature of Sanctification

Sanctification is God's will for His people. We are being progressively sanctified through the work of the indwelling Holy Spirit. As a general rule, this sanctification does not require a drastic change in our earthly situation. The Lord often uses the ordinary, every day issues of life to develop godliness in His people.
