1 Timothy 4:1-5

We should be the most thankful people on earth.

The FOCUS of this passage: Thanksgiving will help root out legalism in the church.

I. The root of legalism is demonic deception (verses 1-2).

II. The fruit of legalism man-made traditions (verse 3).

III. The axe for legalism is the grateful enjoyment of God's gifts (verses 4-5).

A. We must have faith.
B. We must have knowledge.
C. We must have gratitude.
