What Makes Jesus So Great?

Our text begins with Jesus meeting a woman who is grieving the loss of her only son. Her husband is deceased. She has already experienced that grief. And now, the only person that cared for her is gone.

This is the kind of loss that makes you feel lonely even when surrounded by friends and family. Because no one can really understand your pain. Those of us that have lost a loved one know that the pain never goes away.

But nothing can replace the comfort we get from the Lord.
