I: PAST: POINTS BACK TO THE HISTORICAL WORK OF CHRIST

The Lord’s Supper in and of itself is an historical marker; it points us back to a specific point in History when Jesus Christ completed His work of redemption.

II: PRESENT: POINTS TO OUR PRESENT RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST

Our salvation is a present reality. You are presently and actively in communion with Jesus right now.

III: FUTURE: POINTS US TO THE RETURN OF CHRIST

Our salvation will reach its fulfillment in the future when Christ raises us with Him at His second coming.
