Like a RR track, law is one rail, grace is the other rail. The two never meet. Law and Works belong together. Grace and Faith belong together. When faith is made to be a condition to salvation it moves from the category of grace to Law and Works. Paul declares "faith...is not of works". Works lead to arrogance, boasting and spiritual pride. This the Scriptures condemn!
