Better Than Silver

Solomon encourages his son to find wisdom, since it is better than silver and can offer him life's greatest gifts: long life, riches, honor, pleasantness, and peace. In fact, it is a tree of life. The LORD does all he does by wisdom, so we can learn from his example. Think, Solomon would say, of what God's revealed wisdom can do in the lives of those who find it.
