Divine Disruption

Advent is a time of disruption. It was so for Joseph, the Jews, and the world. Life could no longer go on as usual. This disruption is repeated each time a person comes to faith in Christ. The believer is told as much when instructed to put off the old self and put on the new. Ultimately, this age leads to a final disruption, one that everyone needs to be ready for.

The preacher apologizes for saying Matthew instead of Joseph throughout a good portion of the message. He hopes it is not too disruptive!
