God's Word

We have here two incidents in the life of Moses and Israel that show the importance of believing every word that comes from God's mouth. The Passover was a new institution with many details and Moses' faith was in bowing to and upholding these details rather than subjecting them to the scrutiny of man's wisdom. The Red Sea crossing contrasts faith with the utter foolishness of rebellion.
