The Holiness of God - Pt 1

"Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?" -Ex. 15:11

"Glorious in holiness". There is no attribute in which God takes so preeminent delight as His holiness. The angels that fly round about the Throne of God do not cry to one another, "Eternal, Eternal, Eternal" or "Almighty, Almighty, Almighty!" But the ONE attribute God with which God would fill the mouth of the angels who sing His glory is "Holy, holy, holy!"
