Reformation Preaching

The Reformers not only taught that salvation was by grace alone, they also taught it was through a gracious means. The Heidelberg Catechism Q65 states that "the Holy Spirit works faith in the heart by the preaching of the holy gospel." According to Scripture, the ordinary means God uses to save His people is preaching! This message expounds the Biblical basis of preaching as a means of grace.
