Marriage: The 5 Traits of a Christian Marriage
The 5 Traits of a Christian Marriage
We try to lay out the five primary traits of a Christian marriage. All true and real marriages are honorable to God. One doesn't have to be a christian to marry. It is one of his ordinations of nature, that one man and one woman come together to form a new family. But there are rules here; some of wisdom and some of law.
A Promise, a Vow, a Covenant to keep.
A Friendship: from before the fall that one should not be alone but have a soul to walk through life with is a primary trait of the human experience.
A Relationship: an intimate and physical relation unique in all creation.
An Adventure: A Christian life occurs within a God designed framework with predictable phases and peaks and valleys.
A Center: The most important trait of a Christian marriage is that its center be in Christ and him crucified because life and hope rest in him alone.
