Seekers In Need Of The Truth!

Our text records a classic conversation between Jesus and a Jewish teacher of the law called Nicodemus. On that quiet Palestinian evening, a perplexed Nicodemus walked along the winding backstreets of old Jerusalem to talk to Jesus Christ.

In their conversation, Jesus does not mince His words, he tells Nicodemus that, "…no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again." Being born again is a radical change in a sinner's life whereby one is given a new nature through repentance. This is the work of the Holy Spirit. Through Him, we hear God's Word, and when we believe it in our hearts we are born again. Because of the new nature we receive by the indwelling Holy Spirit, we begin a new lifestyle.
