How Did Jesus Do It?
How did He do it?
Think about Jesus... He was constantly bombarded with everything that is wrong with and about a world He made. I imagine He saw more wrong than right but the wrong didn't cripple Him or distract Him from the right that He came to do.
How could He do it?
Public ministry FOR the Lord requires private moments WITH the Lord.
Some things that help me with this: knowing my purpose or chief aim, knowing my calling and how He's enriched and equipped my life for it, staying on the course He's given me and looking to Jesus as the example.
There are THREE FUNDAMENTAL things Jesus deferred to His Father:
(1) His RIGHTS: He did what He did because His Father led Him (John 5). He was meek and therefore usable.
(2) His RESULTS: He was totally dependent upon His Father to work in and through Him. The numbers, big or small never motivated Him because that was out of His control and in the Father's hands. He was humble. (John 6)
(3) His REWARDS: All honor and praise was direct toward the Father. He gave all the credit to His Father. Glory, He was faithful to always exalt the Father. (John 17)
We have no greater life or example than Jesus.
