We're talking about spiritual
understanding, spiritual understanding. In these last days as we coming
down to the end times, there's a different approach to church
and to the gospel and to the people within the church because
the church been infiltrated by false prophets, false teachers,
false professors. Along with that infiltration
is that Christ had infiltrated the world. First, if we see in
the book of Daniel, the stone that had smoked a mountain, a
stone that was made, that was carved out without hands. So
as the church is in the war as the people of the church of God
comes out of the world they in the world and God's calling them
out of the world into the church but with that Exodus out of the
church as John the Baptist noticed that the Pharisees also was coming
to be baptized the Pharisees was trying to buy fire insurance
and people are buying fire insurance and we noticed that casualties
and the raging fire that's going on in Los Angeles and we need
to pray for them and pray that the firemen get that under control
and that it resolve itself soon, you know, because it's a lot
of devastation and people work for all that they are losing
all that they work for all of their lives. And there's an understanding
to be wrought out of that. It's a raw understanding that
those with a spiritual understanding is Judging they say he that is
spiritual judge at all things so God's people are in a strengthened
and invigorated by the things that It's invigorating to Read
God's Word and see God's Word coming to pass but you have to
have an understanding of God's Word and to understand the times
that we're in and to operate in that time because, let's say,
especially in this nation, as it was in Israel, it was a hypocritical
nation, a nation that would look at a prophet such as Isaiah,
the 28th chapter and the ninth verse, it says, whom shall he
teach knowledge and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? And who shall he make to understand
doctrine, them that are weaned from the milk and drawn from
the breast? For precept must be upon precept,
precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a
little and there a little. For with stammering lips and
another tongue will he speak to this people." They were criticizing
Isaiah. They were talking about his redundancy
and teaching and the Simplicity in which he was trying to offer
it same thing we do today with simplicity We try to teach God's
Word and there's a milk stage. There's a stage when you enter
into the church That's a growing and and if we notice that any
mother wouldn't feed a baby steak meat some sort of tough something
that they would choke on and Just as a lot of people are choking
and twisting God's word as they come into church and to the gospel
and we have social media. We have a problem. We have a
technical problem because Satan has taken over the secular airways. He controls all of the social
media outlets. I see where he's trying to, the
people that are misleading and misinformation and disinformation. one of them are trying to purchase
tiktok or whatever so the whole world is being deceived in that
deception and we see that the steps deception here in the nation
in which we living in People are thinking they understand
but they don't understand and they don't see and as we preached
in one sermon the car is going over the cliff and Everybody's
in the car. No one gets out of the car. That's
going over the cliff They're going down the broad way to destruction
And as Jesus says as be as the days of Noah, they'll be married
and given in marriage eating and drinking as in the book of
Ezekiel they said the people would filled with satiety, as
in the times of Sodom and Gomorrah. He even called Israel Sodom and
Gomorrah. And this nation is Sodom and
Gomorrah because that's what they're given, to pleasure and
satiety. And it's the destruction that
we see Babylon, that it's fallen in a fallen condition. He says,
to whom he said this is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary
to rest. And this is the refreshing yet
they would not hear. But the word of the Lord was
unto them, precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon
line, here a little and there a little, that they might go
and fall backward and be broken and snared and taken. That word
snared and taken and falling backwards, they're tripping over
the word of God, they're tripping over religion. taken is destruction. I heard years ago there was a
movie or some kind of book or something out about the rapture
or being taken or whatever. And they had it exactly backwards
because taken, the ones that are taken are the ones that destroy. The word taken means given to
destruction in biblical language. The ones left, the movie I think,
the book was left behind. Well, if we look in the Bible,
the ones that are left is the remnant. Those are the ones that
inherit the earth. These are going along with the
false Satan, the Antichrist, or whatever. They're taking the
destruction. If you read where the city was
taken, that means it was destroyed or whatever. It's exactly backwards. It's exactly backwards, and that's
what the world is. God's opposite to the world,
and so pride, the world is proud, arrogant, and that's what this
nation is, a prideful and arrogant, but God's people are humble.
They are based themselves. They're not looking for the spotlight. They says, who does Isaiah think
he is, people say, to speak to us like this? Are we little children,
barely old enough to talk? He tells us everything over and
over again, a line at a time and in such simple words, but
they won't listen. Only they can understand is punishment. So God would punish them by sending
against them foreigners who speak strange gibberish. Only then
will they listen to him. They could have rest in their
own land if they would obey him, if they were kind and good. He
told them that, but they wouldn't listen to him, so the Lord would
spell it out for them again, repeating it over and over in
simple words whenever he can. Yet over this simple, straightforward
message, they will stumble and fall and be broken, trapped,
and stared over the gospel. over the gospel message. A lot
of the immigrants that they are talking about deporting or whatever,
we'll see that God had sent those very immigrants. He says with
another tongue, stammering lips, will he talk to these people?
We notice that the foreigners that he sent in, other people
to displace his people. We see that they'll be displaced
in the kingdom of God. We'll talk about it hopefully
for Saturday, where it says the children of the kingdom shall
be cast out. The Gentiles, another people
shall come in and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob because
This is a hypocritical people, a people that have God's word,
but they don't understand it. There's no understanding in the
land. The word is being preached or taught. They even have their
ministers which are transformed into angels of life. But the
word without understanding is utter darkness. And we'll see
that Jesus preached to them in darkness. He preaches. He was
the spirit that came back to preach to the spirits in darkness
by that same spirit that he preached to those in Old Testament time.
That is the Holy Spirit. That they would see the light
and come to the light, but it's a light in darkness that won't
be able to come to the light. They won't be able to hear because
of their rejection of God's Word and God's way. This is very similar
to Jesus' explanation of the parables. And a parable is dark
sins. And he said he would speak to
them in dark sins. And he began to talk to the people
in parables because the people had rejected him. The Pharisees,
and just like the multitude of people today, they reject the
things of God. They reject the true ways of
God and the preachers and teachers of God. God says he scatters
understanding on any given subject throughout the Bible, and our
job is to put it all together and see the amazing truth that
results. So we have to look all over the
whole Bible. It's almost like a, you know
how you put together, the Bible is a tapestry. It looks on the
backside of a rug as confusion and all jumbled up, but that's
what God did. It was chaos in the world. It
was darkness on the face of the earth, but the spirit of God
moved upon the earth. It brooded upon the earth. It
brought organization to the earth. It brought the Garden of Eden.
That's what God does to our lives. He brings organization. He brings
life. He brings the fruit of the Spirit.
That's what's happening now to those where the seed, the Word
of God, is being sown. We're like farmers going out
sowing seed all over the world, scattering that seed, and some
of that seed is falling on good soil. some on thorny ground,
some by the wayside, some the birds are eating up, the vipers
of the air. Satan has taken a lot of this
and distorted it. Some he's taken from the very
lips of a lot of people who've had the word. Satan comes and
steals that very word away. Therefore, parables cannot be
interpreted alone. They rely on the revelation of
the rest of the scriptures. Some people try to interpret
parables and how to lead. The pastor that taught one of
the pastors of this church was talking about a parable makes
things more plain and simple. Well, parable is an illustration
of earthly things, but it has a heavenly interpretation. It
has a point to it, and we try to dissect it down to four and
break every point of it down and exposition it, exposit it,
and we bless up, because it may be heightened toward, it's showing
one point, as the rich man that died, and he said, send Lazarus
to preach to my brothers, and he says, if they didn't, if they
have Moses and the prophets, if they don't believe them, they
won't believe one that rose from the dead. The point is the rejection
of God's word. The rejection, that same word
that's in the law, that same word that the law shows us, it's
a mirror. And that's what we're washed
by. We're washed by the word. So instructions, if we would
be doers of God's word, we would know that it is from God and
that we would grow in faith. If we believe God, we believe
the word. Because he's sent an object of
that faith, Jesus Christ, and a lot of people don't believe
upon Jesus Christ, thus they don't get eternal life because
they don't receive the spirit, the Holy Spirit that comes in
Jesus' name, who guides and leads us in all truth. And those that
are being guided and led by that truth Jesus Christ reveals the
mystery of the scriptures to us. He unravels it. He shows
it to us. He gives us understanding of
that. That's why, you remember, I started out saying that we
must pray for wisdom. In our prayers for wisdom, we
have to get knowledge and understanding, and wisdom gives us the practical
application, the skillful use of knowledge and understanding.
Matthew 9 and 29 where he says, then he touched the eye saying,
according to your faith, be it unto you. According to your faith. Now you have to have to have
faith. You must receive faith by the
hearing of the word. Faith cometh by the hearing of
the word. Right? So then he touched their
eyes saying, according to your faith, that is your trust and
confidence in my power and my ability. Whose power and whose
ability? Jesus Christ. In Christ, everything's in Christ.
The faith of Christ, the faith in Christ, the faith to do the
works that he did and that even we would do greater works. And
if you have, if you believe it would, if you believe it would
be done to you according to your faith, he said, you could speak
to that mountain. In other words, your problems,
all of the things in life that be are overcome in life and it
shall be given unto you because we as children of Abraham, that's,
that's also covers all men, any man, because that name Abraham
meant father of many nations. That's why he told us to go into
all the world and preach the gospel. It crosses all boundaries. It brings all men unto salvation. So we have to be sons of Abraham,
in other words, the father of faith, Abraham, okay? Then he
touched the eyes and because of your faith it will happen.
The Living Bible says because of your faith it will happen.
And he goes on and we see Jesus granting most of us several miraculous
miracles throughout the New Testament according to someone's faith.
He says that be unto you. He told them that of all of the
people in the Old Testament, he talked about Elijah and them
being sent the Gentiles. You remember, Naaman was the
only leper that was healed. He had leprosy. He was the only
leper healed in the Old Testament. So we see the marvelous workings
and we see the promises of God being fulfilled in Jesus Christ. In the book of Romans, the eighth
chapter of Luke, Matthew, the 13th verse, the Roman centurion,
he said, greater faith he hadn't found in all of Israel. Now this
was a Roman centurion. That a man, he says, I have men
under me and I'm a man under authority myself. And I know
you don't have to go to my son. All you have to do is speak the
word. So he understood the workings
of faith. He understood Jesus Christ. Jesus
Christ says he hadn't found greater faith in all of Israel. So faith
and believing and trusting in Jesus Christ, there's an understanding
there. See, the wisdom and the knowledge
that comes, but there's an understanding there. The book of Matthew, the
ninth chapter, about the woman with the issue of blood, that
pressed through the What did he say? He says, your faith has
made you old. So here, the catalyst, the mechanism
in healing, according to Mark 5 and 34, Luke 17 and 19, 18
and 14, the 42, the deaf, the blind men that were healed, it's
their faith that had made them old. It's faith, that's the operational. And years ago, a few years back,
and I don't know how the fad's still going with it, you had
the Word of Faith movement, the Word of Faith. But the Baptist
Church, Methodist Church, and all churches, all people of God,
that's the only way that we can, without faith, it's impossible
to please God. So any of those that had pleased
God were men of faith. That's nothing new. Without faith,
it's impossible. And we know that faith has to
have words. So there's an understanding of
the mechanism of religion that drives God's people, their belief
system. That process is taking God's
yoke upon us and learning of him. Learning of him, we have
to learn. With that learning is the dissimilation
of understanding and knowledge of God. But we pray for the wisdom
to make that applicable in our lives. The skill to live each
and every day obeying God. In all cases, the condition,
let's see, faith opens the door for divine blessing. It lacks
of faith closes the door. Remember, in even the town when
Jesus was from, the people knew Jesus in Nazareth. And it says
that Christ could do only a few mighty works due to the people's
lack of faith. That was Matthew 13 chapter four.
57 through the 58 first it's what say that those that have
that has that born-again experience That that faith to believe but
like I said We're saved by grace through faith and faith the mechanism
that drives this The spirit is the preaching of the Word of
God Hearing of the Word of God the gospel The gospel, because
what? If we're in bondage, it's the
anointing that breaks the yoke. The Word of God, the Spirit,
comes in and relieves us from bondage. It opens our eyes. It places us in a place of salvation. In being physical and carnal
and deceptive, hypocritical. A lot of us think we're out of
bondage, that we're not in bondage, and we can't see. But they're
blind. They're like the Laodiceans,
that they had a lot of material stuff. They were rich. They had
all types of merchandise, and they were churchgoing people.
He said, but you're poor, wretched, and negative. They were lacking
because a lack of understanding of how the Holy Works. Similarly,
salvation is a great work, but unbelief prevents it. Unbelief
presents, it's like a block. It's that stumbling block. Remember
I told you that stumbling block? So you can't come to God by intellect. You could be the richest man
in the world and all kinds of genius, intellect, IQ or whatever,
but without faith, without a belief in Jesus Christ, that you're
depraved and like everybody else, you may lack an understanding
of God. That doesn't give you an understanding
of God. As a matter of fact, God kind
of normally hides that from the wisdom, from the wise of this
world. He hadn't chosen very many of
them. He hadn't chosen very many. It
is important to study the word of God to increase faith as it
comes by hearing and reading God's Word, Romans 10, 17. It
says their eyes were opened is more than a description of a
literal action. It is also a Hebrew figure of
speech for one's eyes to be opened. So we may use a simile, we may
use metaphors, we may use parables that he was healing the blind. And a lot of people saying that
this is metaphorical about the healing and about all of these
other things. Well, there is a metaphorical
applications to it, but there's figurative and literal in the
Bible and nothing prevents the other. One doesn't prevent the other.
The Jews thought of blind eyes as shut and seeing eyes as being
open. So this is a Hebrew book. It's
Greek. It came along when the time Jesus
came along. Greek and Aramaic was the language
that it was written in. The whole Testament was written
in the Hebrew language. But it was a culture where we
must understand the figures of speech and what they were talking
about, the insinuations that are being made. When Jesus removes
the blindness from the two men, they can now see and comprehend
what was once close to them. So it's a physical work of removing
the blindness from him, but it had other implications. That's
why one of the men, he says, do you really want to be healed? Do you really want to be? Because
if he was healed of his sight, if he was able to see, wouldn't
that encompass not being able to beg anymore, that he would
have to go out and work and get a job? he would have to earn
a living a different way at that time. They wouldn't give unto
him at that time. Jesus' opening eyes we see, as
I just said, about the lay of the sins in the book of Revelations
that all of the material things that they had that they were
following. They might have been in a Word
of Faith church or whatever. They was confessing or professing
of something that they didn't have. They wasn't clothed with
Christ. They hadn't put on Christ. So,
thus they didn't have an understanding or working relationship with
Jesus, thus they were negative. Just as the word negative in
the Garden of Eden talking about Adam and Eve was negative, and
then they put on fig leaves, which wasn't appropriate covering,
and God gave them appropriate covering. God's Word, Jesus Christ,
is our covering. We have to put on Christ. We
have to be covered by the blood. We have to be covered by His
Word. His Word is what heals us. His Word is how we live. That's
our life's blood, assimilating the Word of God. Thus the opening
of the eyes suggests spiritual understanding. It suggests spiritual
understanding. And I want to tie, skip where
I'm at, and go try to tie it in to Isaiah. You remember in
the book of Isaiah, he was telling them about that the ears was
closed and the eyes, and that they were blind, that they couldn't
see. And there was a spiritual implications
to that. because he told Isaiah to go
and preach, but the people would be destroyed. It would be desolation,
Isaiah 6 and 10. He says, make the heart of this
people dull and their ears heavy and shut their eyes lest they
see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand
with their heart and return and be healed. So that's something
to go tell the preacher to go preach. but that he was, the
preaching was going to close some of them's eyes. It was going
to be dull. A lot of people hear the word
of God. It's not life blood to them. They're not a doer of that
word. That word doesn't give them life,
but to people that are hungry and thirsty for truth, for God,
just as these days, we see the world going in a different direction.
They're going the broad way. We see the nation is falling.
But they're not seeing it. They're walking with hope and
they're thinking of peace and prosperity and all of these things
while they're plunging off into the abyss. They're plunging off
to their destruction. Apollyon has gotten them and
blinded them. The god of this world has blinded
them. They love lies. They love darkness
rather than light. So we see that most people do
not grasp the value of the meaning of scripture, but Christ can
open a person's eyes to enable him to understand his word, just
as he did for his disciples after the resurrection in the book
of Luke, where he says, he told them, and he opened up their
eyes in the understanding that they may understand the Scriptures.
I see a few churches on Wednesday nights and different nights at
Bible study or whatever, but without a study of the Word. And that's what's lacking a lot
of time, to think they could study it by themselves. But like
I said, he set up the church as a mechanism. organization,
the call-out one, that we would assemble together. And he gave
gifts to the church. He sent apostles, prophets, teachers. He set an organization, administration
in place for the perfecting of the saints. But the world is
do-it-yourselfers and pull yourselves up by your own bootstraps and
being independent. and having social media, and
they're 15 minutes in the sun, and like I said, the world is
corrupted, and we can see that destruction, and the people are
plunging off, but we see God, wherever His word is preached,
we see that His people are coming through the highway of holiness,
and coming into the house of the Lord, so they won't violate
the rule of law, saying, don't forsake the assembling together
of yourselves. So the church is that authorized
representative. And throughout the Old Testament,
we see where he was develop a central meeting place, a place where
you would bring all of the tithes into the storehouse, a place
where ruling would go out. That's Jerusalem. He talks about
the New Jerusalem in the New Testament. Just like the old
Jerusalem, well, the new Jerusalem is the ruling place of the New
Testament. But see, we're dealing with a people without understanding,
and they have to come to Christ to get that understanding, but
that's gonna require repentance. But first of all, it's gonna
require hearing of the word of God. The psalmist says and prays,
open my eyes that I may see wondrous things from your law, Psalms
119 and 18. When he's saying I might see
wondrous things from your law, that meant that the mystery,
that the scales of the veil be removed from his eyes so that
he could understand spiritual things. He could understand his
purposes in the Lord. He would be, then, a sheep of
the Lord. He says, the Lord is my shepherd.
I shall not want. He leads me by still waters.
So this leading and guiding by the Spirit of the Lord is learning
the things of God. It's a transformation of the
mind, a transforming of the mind. That's how the kingdom of God
is coming, thy will being done on earth. But if we're not converted, because
it's necessary to be born again. That's a definite, it's a given.
He says, you must be born again. He set himself up as the way,
I'm the truth, the light and the way, and my man coming under
the father, but this is the only way, it's through him. It's with
the mind of Christ, because you have to have that same mind in
you that Christ has. So there's an understanding that
he gives his people. He said he was going to come
to you then. He says, you have no need of
any man to teach you, for the spirit itself shall teach you.
But in that teaching, it's just like the law was given to be
a mirror. Well, that spirit causes you
to humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God and by grace
to follow his commandments through faith. By faith, we help establish
the laws of God. Matthew 13 chapter 9 through
the 17th verse biblical symbolism. He says he who has ears to hear
let him hear and heed my voice. Now, herein again, we're not
talking physicality. Anybody can get the Bible and
read and study the Bible. There are many churches where
preachers sound good. You have different women that
can preach and teach the gospel and have an eloquent way and
words of wisdom and intellect that you can have intellectual
understanding. But without the spirit given
the wisdom of God to make that applicable in your life. It's
not practical wisdom. It's like the wisdom that Solomon
had, and Solomon fell from grace. Solomon turned against God. Solomon,
in the end of his life, he says, all vanity and vexation of spirit. Solomon turned to evilness and
wickedness. Now listen, he explains this
Then the disciples came to him and asked, why do you speak to
the crowds in parables? Jesus replied to them, to you
it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven,
but to them it is not granted. For whoever has spiritual wisdom,
because he is receptive of God's word, to him more shall be given,
but He will be richly and abundantly supplied. But whoever does not
have spiritual wisdom, because he has devalued God's word, even
what he has will be taken away from him. This is the reason
I speak to the crowds in parables. It's because while having the
power of it, seeing they do not see. And while having the power
of it, hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand and grasp
spiritual things. They've had the Word, and I've
seen throughout this nation, this Word has been carried by
missionaries throughout the world. It's all in China, Russia, different
places, all throughout the world. But the very people who carried
the Word of God, are lost. They're not converted. You see,
a prophet, a preacher, a teacher, a false prophet has to preach
the word of God, but it's God that opens the understanding. See, just like Paul says, we're
just words, but one planet, one water, God give it the increase. In other words, God must cause
that seed to germinate because all of it's sown into the ground
and we see the earth, the ground has no effect, but it's the place,
in other words. He says, those that fell between
the thorns, as that seed grew, the cares of this world, and
the riches and the things of this world choke the word out
of them. So he says they had it, and now
a lot of people that once heard the gospel, like Debus, that
know the word of God, like that false prophet in the Old Testament
that knew the things of God, become conniving And he tricked
the other prophet that God had spoke to, to come and dine with
him, and he got him killed. We have to beware, the word of
God tells us in the New Testament, if a brother's a fornicator,
an idolater, don't fellowship, don't eat with that brother.
So there's wickedness in the church, there's wickedness in
the world. This nation is the most dangerous place to live.
Why? Because they know the Word of
God. They know, and that's dangerous
to be in a fallen condition and hateful and love darkness rather
than light. See, Satan's people are very,
it says, the children of this world is wiser than the children
of the kingdom. That's why more of God's people
are falling and we see in the book of Daniel where it says
in the latter days that he's going to turn them over to the
power to be destroyed and persecuted. We see the persecution has begun
in this nation and the oppressed. This is one of the worst places
to live if you're trying to preach or teach the truth. Because what
happens, you have to take heed unto yourself and constantly
examine yourself. As Paul says, buffet yourself. Because Satan comes along and
draws you away with vanities. He's come and offered you the
things of the world to preach a false gospel. To just kind
of twist the word of God just a little bit. So he says, in them the prophecy
of Isaiah is being fulfilled. Which says, you will hear and
keep on hearing, but never understanding. So they will build cathedrals
and churches and mega, mega, mega coliseums and all of this,
hearing the word of God and so many people listening at the
word of God and following the word of God. But they don't understand
it. And you will look and keep on
looking but never comprehend. God has to give you comprehension
of his word. He have to give you an understanding
So that's why he was talking to them in parables you can hear
what the preaching and teaching says but privately God reveals
the mystery unto you a Mystery is something that you can't figure
out by intellect. You can't work this thing out.
It has to be shown to you and God, at the revelation of Jesus
Christ, shows us the way. That's why we have to ask for
wisdom to walk, wisdom to talk. We have to be dependent upon
God each and every day, even for our daily bread. That daily
word, see, because a lot of preaching and teaching you could be studying,
and a lot of times you read your Bible, you don't get nothing
out of it, and God could take you to a simple two or three
verses, and you get more out of it than your whole week's
worth of reading. So you have to have a total dependency
upon God. He says, And you will look and
keep on looking but never comprehend for this nation's heart has grown
hard and with their ears they hardly hear and they have tightly
closed their eyes. Otherwise, they would see with
their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their
heart and turn to me and I would heal them spiritually. But blessed,
spiritually aware, and favored by God are your eyes, because
they see, and your ears, because they hear. I assure you and most
solemnly say to you, many prophets and righteous men who were honorable
and in right standing with God long to see what you see and
did not see it, and to hear what you hear and did not hear. Remember
he told Daniel to close that up, to seal up that book? He
didn't give Daniel the understanding of those things. When Daniel
prayed to him for wisdom and understanding to reveal Nebuchadnezzar's
dream to him and tell him what it meant, he explained that to
Daniel. He explained the Iran writing on the wall to Daniel. God is, he don't send manna out
so we could store up manna. Manna comes fresh daily. He says,
give us this day our daily bread. That manna spoils if you try
to stockpile it. this day our daily bread. From the very beginning, God
has supervised the writing of the Bible so that it cannot be
understood without outside help. In other words, it has to be
understood by the spirit. The church is the place where
God dissimulates his word unto his people. Peter, if you love
me, feed my sheep. If you love me, feed my lambs. If you love me, feed my sheep. So the emphasis was on continually
feeding the sheep because sheep get hungry. Sheep are constantly
eating. But it's sheep food that you
feed them. Don't feed them goat food. Don't
feed them any other thing. You must feed them sheep food. A goat eat anything. But he says,
my people hear my voice and they won't listen to another. So the
reason some people reject and are not following the churches
of the people, they're not hearing the voice of the true shepherd.
They're not hearing, it's like a dog. If you're not feeding
him, he's gonna leave and go somewhere else. So if a sheep's
being fed and that sheep is hungry and thirsting for righteousness,
he's gonna be content and be full. Now there are those that
are in the churches that are not following God that are being
fattened for the day of slaughter. that are eating other sheep's
food and are getting riches and wealth, but they're only fattening
themselves for the day of slaughter, as my uncle would say, fattening
frogs for snakes. Even prophets and righteous men
of old didn't understand, nor did the multitudes who heard
the parables of Christ. They says, eat of his flesh and
drink of his blood. They know that was against Jewish
law. Cannibalism and all these things
you couldn't drink eat flesh with the blood in it because
the blood is symbiotic of the life They misunderstood what
G that was a hard saying of Jesus See, that's what's hard about
the Word of God But if you come to him and walk in his way, he'll
dissimulate that word to you. It could be hundreds of others,
and so many sitting in a church, and that preacher preaching,
and a lot of times, somebody go, oh, Red Rep, you really preached
to me this time? And it opened up my eyes, and
he going, look at it, what did I say? I don't know what he got
off on. God is a person of God. He can
get to you in the midst of a crowd and nobody else understood. I
told you last week about in the book of Acts when he spoke to
Paul and he talked and they thought it thundered. They didn't hear
the voice. They said, we heard a voice, but we didn't understand
it. He was talking and speaking to Paul in an audible voice and
Paul was understanding, but the rest of them wasn't understanding.
You don't have to hide to hear God's word. Like a lot of people
say, when he said, Lazarus come forth, God talks to who he wants. He possesses life and death.
We're not talking to some generic God here. According to Romans
11, the meaning is bail for most of mankind until the day God
offers them salvation. That common salvation have appeared
unto all men, but then God specifically calls one out. specifically calls
those out. Some are relegated to unbelief
until a later time. Some won't understand to the
white throne judgment until a millennium, and they may rebel, as Solomon
said, there's a time and a season for all things. So that's why
a preacher, that's how we learn patience, that we learn this
is all in God's control. That's why we don't stress and
we don't suffer from anxiety or whatever, because God is giving
us rest from the cares of this world and the cares of this life.
And we can't control everything, and that we can't control anything,
and that God is in control. He's sovereign. Other parts of
the Bible tells us that it takes the Holy Spirit to give us ears
to hear. 1 Corinthians 2, 6-14. It says, yet we do speak wisdom
among those spiritually mature believers who have teachable
hearts and a great understanding. So we're talking, that's why
I said the church is the place where you're taught at and you
have to come into the house of God. And there's something about
a union of believers assembled together. in which God's word
is dissimulated, that it gives you an understanding and spirit
to go about, that this flows through you. It says, believers
who have teachable hearts and a great understanding, but it
is a higher wisdom, not the wisdom of this present age, nor the
rulers and the leaders of this age who are passing away. It
says, but we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, The wisdom once
hidden from man, but now revealed to us by God, that wisdom there
is what God's offered. We have to ask for it. When we
get hungry or thirsty for it, come and ask for it, and he liberally
gives it to you, but you have to ask in faith. Ask it in believing
that you received it. But you're asking because you
need it in your day-to-day battle. You need it in the confrontations
of the things that you go through, the work and through the commissioning
of helping establish the kingdom of God. Because you're not working
for yourself, you're working for God. And this is for Christ's
sake. So you come and say, well, Jesus
wants me to have this so I can do this. Anything that you ask
the Father in Christ's name, the father gives to you because
he's given the son a job to do. and he had given us to the sun
for good works. We were created for good works
and purpose for good works. And as we do those good works
and God works through us, he tears the world down. The carnal
battle is that we are reconstructing, we are re-inhabiting the earth.
We're making the earth anew. The old earth is passing away.
The foundations are being destroyed. That which is being built is
being built by faith. He says, but now is revealed
to us which God predestined before the ages to our glory to lift
us into the glory of his presence. None of the rulers of this age
recognize and understood this wisdom. For if they had they
would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But just as it
is written in scripture, things which the eye has not seen and
the ear has not heard and which have not entered the hearts of
man, all that God has prepared for those who love him, who hold
him in affectionate reverence, who obey him and gratefully recognize
the benefits that he had bestowed. So this is being unveiled in
God. He's unveiling all of this and
showing it to us. As we grow and started to personally
understand this, we take it and dissimilate it to others. And
this spirit, as he's being lifted up, there's like a timing mechanism
that now is the time that you go to this person and do that.
He's not the author of confusion. The other day when I was talking,
my nephew said he was gonna come out this Saturday or whatever.
I don't know if he will or not. But I've laid that seed. It is time. It's a fervent, effectual
call. We're to do that not knowing
what God's gonna do because it's all in the Lord's hand, but we've
done our job by faith. through faith in Christ, we've
done those things. It says, for God has unveiled
them and revealed them to us through the Holy Spirit. That's
why we have to walk by faith and what the Spirit leads us
to do. If the Spirit prompts you to
say something or do something, don't be afraid. He says he doesn't
Reward cowards you have to be of a good courage. You can't
be Cowardly you have to be able to approach people you have to
be able to do things for God You have to have the right spirit.
He says for the spirit searching all things diligently even sounding
and measuring the profound depths of God the divine councils and
things far beyond human understanding and For what person knows the
thoughts and motives of a man except the man's spirit within
him? God tells us of the inner workings
of a person. So if we go to that person that
God has us that we, through praying in his word, develop compassion
for, that compassion or that spirit connects with that man. It becomes effectual because
of the fervency that God gives of the Spirit. He says, not by
power, not by might, but by His Spirit. So as we humbly go through
the world, God leads us and guides us, and that's what we're determining,
is that God gives us an understanding to show us. That's why Job said
he understood better now. So through his faults, failures,
and suffering, Job came to a clearer understanding of God. What was
the faults or the failures? If you notice the conversation
with Job, it turned a little bit hostile or bitter toward
God. The more Job went in and talked
with his friends and talked to others, it seemed as a restless
spirit in there and that God had to sand and fine tune that. God's gonna knock off all of
our rough edges. God's gonna give us, we have
to keep going deeper and deeper in God. So that, that we thought
we knew. Job said he thought he knew,
but now he understands clearly. But look how Job starts off.
He says, Job was an upright man, blameless. He was a perfect and
upright man, blameless. But notice that God deepens Job's
knowledge and understanding of him through suffering, through
losing, through lost health, through lost children, through
all of the circumstances and the conversation with his friends,
that God taught Job and never answered Job's question. He only
questioned Job when Job came, but Job's final words was, now
I understand better. I put my hand over my mouth. He's not giving the talk. He
has a teachable spirit. So are we looking at every situation
and circumstances? What is God trying to tell me?
What is he trying to show me? Ask God for wisdom to you bringing
understanding that he clarifies that understanding. He gives
you wisdom to apply that understanding and knowledge. That's what wisdom
is. It gives you skill in those things. He says, now we have received
not the spirit of the world, but the Holy Spirit who is from
God, so that we may know and understand the wonderful things
freely given to us by God. We also speak these things, not
in words that are taught or supplied by human wisdom, but in those
taught by the Spirit, combining and interpreting spiritual thoughts
with spiritual words for those being guided by the Holy Spirit. Now we're getting a spiritual
understanding. That's human understanding. We
had a human understanding. We don't discard that. But wisdom
gives us common sense. It gives us, it opens up that
which we had. It turns vices into virtues. But where we may have been strong,
He makes us stronger in those areas. He knews us. It's a regenerating. It's like a broken bone that
you come and plaster, normally where a bone heals that is stronger
than the rest of the bone. Where that fracture takes place
at is stronger than the areas around that break. So God breaks
our heart, he gives us a new heart. That's why he says we
must come to him with a broken, a contrite heart. As we come
with that broken and contrite heart, He heals us. He gives
us a new heart, a stronger heart, a heart made of flesh. So the
understanding that we get from God is genuine. He says, I don't want to leave that, but
Spiritual comprehension, can we see God? Yes, you can see
God and God says only the pure at heart shall see God. And Jesus says, if you've seen
me, you've seen the Father. So he's bringing us to a place
where all of this is seen to us. Notice that in John 7 and
5, it says, for not even his brothers believed in him. These
were his flesh and blood brothers that grew up with him and didn't
believe in Jesus because it hadn't been shown to them. Just a flesh
and blood in the same house, they're not knowing who Jesus
was. A lot of people call him the God man, but I say that Jesus
was a man like everybody else that had faith and God had put
the spirit up on him without measure. So it was Jesus in his
manhood. It was Jesus as Jesus. He overcome
as a man because if he'd overcome as a man, I mean, as God, his
brothers couldn't have did that. We couldn't have did that because
he was using the power of God to overcome, but he believed
God. He had faith in God. We have
to have that same faith that he has. Jesus grew tired. Jesus did all of these things
because just like he was born, he was born of the spirit, but
he was born through a earthly, a fleshly abomination through
the seed of the woman. So it wasn't man's contaminated
blood. So that's why the book of 1 John
says, whoever have this hope, purify himself. What do we do? We put the old man to death. We put that which is enmity against
God because flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. We
put that to death. We'll bear it with Christ. We're
a new man. We're a new creation in Christ
Jesus. We're spiritual. We have eternal
life. He's given us that what is necessary. We have to believe the same way
Jesus did. He didn't have any doubt in Him.
Just like the man that came to Jesus, he said, I believe in
you. I believe, but help my unbelief. That's what we have to do. Those
portions are areas in our life that we had learned unbelief. We had learned the world. That's
why I say, as you grow in God, as you come to understanding
of God, you hate the world, the things of the world. Man, this
administration that's coming in, this is an evil and a wicked
thing that's coming to pass. We hate that. The only way that
you can have that hatred is that you're becoming like God. You
see this and say, it can't survive. Nothing that comes of it, this
is a cockatrice. Nothing could come of good from
this. That's why when you say make
the nation good again and make America great, no, it has to
fall because God's kingdom has to come. This kingdom that's
being grounded, that's being made from without man's hand,
I'm a part of that kingdom. I'm saying thy kingdom come,
that means your kingdom has to fall. And I truly believe this. I truly believe that Jesus Christ
is coming back and he may come back in the very time that I
live before I die. That I'll see him for myself. Joe believed that he would see
him for himself. He says in my body, that he is
in the body that he in his flesh and body. There's gonna be some
that's gonna be converted, a change from a mortal body to an immortal
body. The incorruptible will be, I
mean, the corruptible will be changed to incorruptible. So
when does that change come? It has to come at a time when
we are in our flesh and blood body. when we're like we is that
God comes in through Jesus Christ and he changes us in a twinkling
in an eye. We have to, if we believe Christ,
if we believe the teachings of the Bible, these are the things
that we believe. But man talks you in against
that belief. He talks you out of believing
that you will be changed. He tells you about the rapture,
you believing, and all of this, and it's a twisted Christianity. john eight chapter forty-third
forty-seven freezes it why do you want not why do you misunderstand
what i'm saying it is because you're spiritual ears are death
and you are unable to hear the truth of my word you are of your
father the devil and it is your will to practice the desires
which are characteristics of your father. He was a murderer
from the beginning. So why does Jesus bring Satan
or the devil into it? Just like I said, the things
of this world, the wealth and the people, we see that they
are of Satan, that they are of devil. The origins, the things
that's going on in the nation, we see this is of Satan. This
political system, this has become Babylon. It's the things of the
world. But people can't understand it.
They say, well, why you don't understand? Because they don't
have ears to hear. God is not changing them. They
don't have ears to, they don't, can't get an understanding because
they're not part of the process and you will let your, this thing
that's going on in you, this process, this regeneration that's
going on in you. You have to hate mother, father,
sister, brother, anybody else that's hindering this. You have
to lay aside every weight and every sin that's besetting you
from running. You have to get a spiritual understanding
here. this is revealed to you by the
Spirit of God and it's not revealed he says Peter flesh and blood
had not revealed that unto you when Peter says that ought the
Christ but notice that Peter was in a flesh and blood body
because in the very next moment The flesh took over and said,
that shall not become of you. That competitive nature, that
nature of pulling yourself up by the bootstrap, of not going
against, of not going with the words and the instructions of
God. And Jesus says, you savor the things that be not of God.
You're not willing to die to self. You're not willing, the
flesh and blood had revealed who I was. But in the very next
moment, you've turned on these things. That's why he didn't
fault Peter when Peter denied who he was. Because he had already
told him Satan has a desire. He says he's gonna sift you as
wheat. Satan has desired to sift you.
He's asked me for permission to sift you. I've given him that
permission, Peter. I've given him that permission
to sift you. But he says, I have prayed. And
God always answers Christ's prayer. He said, I've prayed that your
faith not fail. The bottom line that we started
with is faith, your faith not fail. When you come around, when
you overcome, go back and strengthen your brother. You go back and
pull them up people. Heavenly Father, as we come before
you,
Spiritual Understanding and Comprehension
Series Understanding
As in the Book of Daniel where the wise increase in faith and spiritual understanding, that's what us Sons of God will be doing in these end- times. For the whole creation is waiting for the manifestation of the Sons of God. We are being called to do that greater work that Jesus spoke of us doing cause He was going to His Father. It is time for us to help establish the Kingdom of God right here on earth.
