"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, yes and forever." Perhaps this (13:8) is the most recognizable verse in Hebrews. The crucial matter of context is first considered. This affirmation of the immutable, eternal and priestly person of the Son is then considered in terms of the yesterday, today and forever of redemptive history.
