The Blessed Countenance of Christ

This Psalm, although it begins in prayer, moves on immediately to rebuking the godless of his generation, and included in that rebuke are words of instruction. The Psalm closes with the thought that the temporary earthly comforts that the godless receive are nothing in comparison with that which the godly obtain by grace:
