Following the Star

The Scriptures tell us that God has numbered the stars and has a name for each one. But of all the stars in the heavens, there is not one with greater import than the Star of Bethlehem.

It was both a sign and the seal of a great promise—that God Himself would come and redeem His people. But at His appearing, not everyone followed the star to Bethlehem. The same is true today. For some, their disinterest is rooted in unbelief. But others have not yet heard of the One who the Scripture calls the Bright Morning Star. Dr. D.
