We're gonna look at Ezekiel's river today. And Ezekiel's millennial river, and if you go to page 463, we've got through all the sacrifices and the reasons for it. Now we need to discover the millennial river. You might want to have your Bibles handy. This is a very fascinating study, in my opinion, and I think you'll enjoy it. In the Messianic age, as Messiah rules and reigns from Jerusalem, there is a wonderful promise of a millennial or a Messianic river that will actually flow from God's throne, Jesus's throne, David's throne, from the great city, and that water that comes from the throne will then be used to water the entire planet. And after the tribulation, the water that has been decimated, it's turned into blood, it's ruined. And so this new water then waters the entire planet Earth and revitalizes it, and there's a supernatural element to it. But again, it's the water. that we're focusing on. Okay. So those of you who maybe went to Israel, you might understand the concept of living water. If you don't, I'll try to explain it. There's an understanding of like dead water versus living water. And in your Bible, you'll see the term living water, living water. What that's a reference to is that that water source is coming from like a spring, so it's fresh, it's not tainted, it's not pulled up in like a mud puddle or something like that. It's not standing water. Living water, in order to like have a, if you went to have a mikveh, There's an early on baptism. The priest would go into the mikvah, they would go into it, but that water had to be living water that they bathed in to do that ceremonial cleansing. Well, what do you mean by that? Well, it's not like they just filled up these cisterns. and just left it there, that's not considered living water. And water in a cistern would not be considered living water. Okay, so what happens? They had these mikvahs, and they were deep down, you would walk downstairs, but they would have an inlet where the water came in from the spring or whatnot, and then they would have an outlet. And somehow, in their engineering genius that they did, it filled up to a certain level, And the engineering that they did is they allowed enough to get out and enough water to come in to where it kept the level. Does that make sense? But it was constantly in and out. It was flowing in and out. But it kept that certain level. So it just depends on, I guess, the diameter of the hole, of the exit, and then the entrance of the water. And somehow they could control the level of that mikveh. So that's how smart they were. They were pretty smart. OK, so it created a living water situation of an inflow and an outflow. Like the Sea of Galilee has an inflow, and then it has an outflow. It's considered living water. OK. So this Millennial River is considered living water because it flows from God's throne, Jesus's throne, and then it goes out and waters the entire planet. So it's a living water. It is a precursor to the living water that flows in the New Jerusalem from God's throne there. Okay, but The New Jerusalem hasn't been created yet in Ezekiel, okay? We're in the Old Testament. But when Jesus makes the New Jerusalem, I go to prepare a place for you, right? Future. He creates the New Jerusalem with a living water fountain that comes from his throne. So the millennial reign is a precursor to that. And you'll see this millennial river that comes from the tabernacle. or not the tabernacle, the temple. I gave you a picture today, right? Yeah, okay, so you can kind of, let me, you can kind of refer to this when I'm talking, but this is the millennial kind of layout. This is a drawing real quick that someone made, and you can see that there's water flowing in both directions. one that will flow to the Dead Sea and revitalize that, and the other one flows into the Mediterranean. And that's how the water system will go at that point in time. So when I'm talking, you can reference that, just kind of get a bird's eye view of what we're talking about. Okay, so we want to explore this because it is a literal river, but it has symbolic meaning like everything we see, okay? So on page 463, the first thing we want to see is it's summarized in Joel 3.18. And it shall come to pass in that day that the mountains shall drop down sweet wine, and the hills shall flow with milk. And all the brooks of Judah shall flow." And this is in regards to that river touching everything and making everything fertile, new, and creating an agricultural wonder. And then they continue on the next page, 464, "...with waters. And a fountain shall come forth from the house of Yahweh and shall water the valley of Shittim." So it's watering the deserts and everything, okay? So Joel encapsulates this. So then let's start then and move into Ezekiel 47, one through two. And he brought me back unto the door of the house, talking about the millennial temple. And behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward. Okay, this is important. Notice where the waters come from. They come from the house, the temple itself, where the Lord is, and it goes eastward. For the forefront of the house was toward the east, so that's how the temple always faces east. And the waters came down from under, from the right side of the house, note that, on the south of the altar. Okay? So on your little picture, you can kind of see how the artist did that. And so it comes down, and then that one area branches out into the Dead Sea, and the other one going to the Mediterranean. Okay. Let's stop right there, and let's look at the symbolic nature of this. Where does the water emanate from? The temple, and literally the throne. The water starts there, goes to the right side, and goes past the altar. Thanks. It goes past the altar. There is symbolic meaning in that. When you study the book of Revelation and you look at the living waters that emanate from the throne in New Jerusalem, what do the living waters represent symbolically? It's real water, but they symbolize something. New life, right? What did Jesus say to the woman at the well? You'll never thirst again because of what? Of the water I can give you. You will have living water that springs up inside of you eternally. So what was he talking about? What's the water being used as a metaphor for? Eternal life. Salvation. Salvation or eternal life is symbolic of water. Now go back to the text. The water emanates from the throne, goes to the right side, past the burnt offering altar. Do you see the symbolic nature in that? So what's the altar symbolize? It emanates from the throne to the right side, past the altar, and heads out eastward. There is symbolic nature in there. If water represents eternal life, what is the messaging that's happening through the symbolic nature of where it originates, where it goes, and then it heads east? What is the symbolic nature of the water emanating from Jesus's throne? If the water symbolizes eternal life, what is the messaging? Okay, so if you look at our spring, it's emanating from that area. If Christ is sitting on top of the spring, what is it saying about Christ? That what emanates from Him? Eternal life emanates from Him, no? I am the living water, right? The origin of living water is God. That's the first messaging. That He is the one that gives eternal life. He is the one that gives the living water. He is the one who gives salvation. It emanates from Him. That's what the picture is. Now, go to the right side. Why is it the right? Why is it not the left? He does. And what does right side symbolically mean? The right hand of God The strength of God, the power of God is always symboled on the right hand. Always. The right side is a symbol of power and where it comes from and where it goes and who does it. It's my right hand has done this, God will say. Okay? So it goes right. So salvation is by the power of God. Then it goes by the burnt offerings that are made on the altar. So then what does that say? He was the sacrifice, but what is it? Keep going. Nope, it's messaging of how you receive living water. You know, okay, so you're following, you know Christ made the sacrifice, yes? Eternal life emanates from Him. It's the right side of God. It's the power of God. And then it makes the first stop, not stop, but first passage is what? The altar. What is he saying? That's true, and so the altar always is a memorial pointing to what? The altar of sacrifice, whether you're in the Mosaic system or you're in the Millennial Kingdom, what does the altar in front of the temple always symbolize? It's a burnt offering, right? It's a whole offering. Yes, it's a payment for sin, right? And ultimately, what is that payment of sin? Blood, but blood of who? Christ. Okay, you should follow me. The water emanates from the throne, goes to the right side. It's hitting the altar to say what? If you want this eternal life, what must happen? A sacrifice must be made, no? But which way is it going? It's heading east. You're not catching it? How would I enter into the temple? I have to come to the east gate, but what direction must I turn? I must be going this way. I'm going west. Okay, so this is east, this is west, right? We all good? Okay, so the water is coming this way. In order for me to approach the temple, I must go this way. And the first thing I'm going to hit is what? I'm going to hit an altar. I'm going west. Let's pretend this podium is the altar. The water is emanating out of the throne to the right side. The water's hitting the altar. And as I approach it, I'm coming here to meet that water. But the first place I'm gonna meet the water is right here. And I ain't going any further than this altar. Why? In order to receive eternal life, there must be a sacrifice. But where does the sacrifice come from? Me? Am I sacrificing myself? No, no. Where the water is coming from is saying not only am I the living water, I am the eternal life, I then must make the sacrifice for you in order for you to receive this. Does that make sense? Okay, so the heading of eastward symbolizes this is a path of God, that God must do this. God must go eastward, right? When the Shekinah left, he left eastward, right? Okay, when the Messiah takes his throne, he comes westward. But in order for me to have salvation, I must approach the temple heading west as I meet eastward what God is doing. And I meet God at the altar. because there must be a sacrifice because I can go no further than that altar. Okay, everyone clear on that one. You all following me, tracking me? That's what the millennial temple's doing. Now, the millennial water. As the water goes, it goes out the door. Let's read the text. Then he brought me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me around by way unto the outer gate, by the way of the gate that looks toward the east. And behold, there ran out waters on the right side. Okay, so we got that. So Zechariah gives us some more information. In Zechariah 14, it's moved down in your text. And it should come to pass in that day that living waters, and you know now what the definition of living waters is, right? It comes from a spring, a brook. It's not a cesspool. Shall go out from Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea. What's eastern seas out there? Dead sea. Remember, going east is Dead Sea, and half of them toward the Western Sea. What's the Western Sea? Mediterranean. In summer and in winter shall it be. So the idea is the flow won't stop. In wintertime, when it has the rain in Israel, the rivers rise up and they have the flow. Summertime, there's no rivers. So it's saying this is perpetual, this will not end, it's different. It's not based on season, it's based on the Messiah. It's based on where the water is emanating from. Okay, yes. starts overflowing and flowed as in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. See, what was happening? See, it's Sodom and Gomorrah. Yeah. Sodom and Gomorrah was a tropical paradise in the days of Lot. That's why Lot wanted that. And you go to their day and you think, why would he want this? Well, because it was a paradise. It was a basin of water. There was no Dead Sea. The Dead Sea happened after the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. But before that, it was a well-watered plain. Right? And it was flowing through that Galilee water would flow right into what we call the Dead Sea now, but it well watered the whole plain. So you had great civilizations all parked up in there. It was actually five kingdoms all around that area because it was so wonderful with water. It was just luxurious. That's why Lot wanted it. And Abraham said, I'm not going in there because I know how bad it is. He stayed away. OK, so you might want to follow me. Frutenbaum skips these sections, but I don't want to skip the section because they're important. Verse 3. And when the man went out to the east with the line in his hand, he measured 1000 cubits and he brought me through the waters. The waters came up to my ankles. Please note that. The waters came up to my ankles. Again, verse four, he measured 1,000 and brought me through the waters. The waters came up to my knees. I go from ankles to knees. Again, he measured 1,000 and brought me through. The water came up to my waist. Again, he measured the 1,000 and it was a river that I could not cross. for the water was too deep, water in which one must swim, a river that could not be crossed. He said to me, son of man, have you seen this? Then he brought me and returned me to the bank of the river. When I returned there along the bank, there was many trees, we'll talk about that in just a second. This is Ezekiel 47, three through five. Okay, so here's the question, here we go. The river has an unusual growth, which is different than any natural river. Notice that the river starts very small, but yet gets wider, deeper, which is unusual. And if you look at the Kern County, like the Kern River, the snow cap melts and the water flows. And generally speaking, the river is higher where the location is of where the water is generated. But this is the opposite. It's small where it begins, but then as it goes out, it gets bigger and deeper and wider. Supernatural. There's something going on here. Rivers don't function like that. By the time you get to the current river, what happens? It's dried out where the end of the river is. This river gets bigger. This will feed into the Mediterranean, which will hit all the ocean water and replenish the whole ocean waters and obviously replenish the Dead Sea and anything it touches. It's supernatural in effect, but it carries symbolic meaning. It is a real supernatural river. It has life properties, which you'll see in a second, but I want you to understand what the spiritual significance of being up to my ankles, being up to my knees, being up to my waist, to the point where I can't swim and you can't cross it. Yes, you're on it. Spiritual maturity. Sanctification's in it, absolutely. The whole messaging is there. Okay, so let's take it one by one. I go into the river. We told you what the river is symbolic of. What? What is the water? Eternal life, right? Eternal life. You got it. So as he waits in it, his first step into it, he's in his ankles. He's in the river of life, or sorry, the water of life, living water. It's symbolic of salvation. It's symbolic of eternal life. But what does being up to your ankles mean? I just took my first baby steps in eternal life. I'm up to my ankles in it. Okay. Read the symbolic nature of it. You can't see my feet, can you? All you can see is that I'm up into my ankles in eternal life. What can you see though? The rest of me. You catching that one? Okay, the rest of me. But symbolically, what does that mean? Spiritually, what does that mean? If you see, all you see covered are my ankles below, represented by eternal life, but you see the rest of me from my ankles up. What is the problem with that? There's a lot of me that you see. What does that mean maturity-wise? I have problems, I'm immature. Because if you don't see eternal life, which is symbolic of me being like Christ, only my feet are covered. That's the only part you can see that's covered by Christ. The rest of me, you're seeing old Brandon. Does that make sense? Okay. Ah, you got it. So the problem is some people decide to wait and wait around in the ankle deep water of Christianity or in their faith. They're an ankle level spirituality. And the problem is with that is what? There's too much of them we have to deal with. Because they are saved, but there's too much of them. Okay, now I go to my knees. What's that? It's a little better, right? It's some growth. I've had some growth, yes? There's two things that are same with being ankle deep and knee deep in the water. Yeah, they have enough information to be dangerous? Absolutely. There's no doubt about that one. They've learned a little bit here, but they have a problem. If I'm in knee-deep water or ankle-deep water, what's the problem with that as far as control? I still can slush through with my knees to walk through the water, and the current won't affect me. The flow of the river will not affect me. Does that make sense? I'm still in control. I'm still powering through walking. I still can walk and what I can do is I can walk back to the bank. I can walk backwards and get back to the bank. What's the problem with me saying, you know what? I only got to go knee deep. And this is getting kind of scary because if I go out any deeper, I'm losing control. So what I'm going to do to play it safe, guys, is I'm going to actually walk back to the bank. What happens to my level of water? It goes down and I go back to ankle. And I'm standing on the bank of the river, saying, this is good here, I'm scared, man, I don't wanna go out there. And there's a lot of Christians that do that. They just wanna stay in control. If I go any further, I'm gonna feel the current. I'm gonna feel the power of that river, because that river's getting deeper and wider. And the more I go out into it, ugh, the less control I have, and it scares me. And so if I go further past my knees, I am now going to start feeling this push of where it's taken me. And that's where, what are you going to do at that point? What am I going to do at that point? I'm feeling the push this way. I'm still in control. So the only way to get out of the current, because the current's right here, the deep right, is to back up or to make the choice. No, this is good for me. and I need to go deeper. But what happens when I go deeper? I'm going to lose control. I have to start swimming. I'm giving up my feet, guys. That's scary. I don't want to start swimming because I don't know how to swim. So then I go up to my waist. And at that point, there's a major tug going on and I'm being, the current's pulling me. I'm still at my feet. Have you ever been in water like that, like in an ocean? I still have my feet, man, but the waves are, boom, boom, they're hitting me. But still, what's the problem? I'm fighting the current. Okay, here's some points I wanna make about this. When you decide to go ways deep, you will start beginning to feel the control of the power and direction of the river. The river is only going in one direction. It's not going different ways. It's going in one direction. What does that symbolize? It's only heading in one direction. Well, basically it's the plan and purposes of God for us and what he wants out of for us is to be conformed to his image, the Lord's image. There's only one thing he wants. There's not multiple goals for you. You have one goal, to be conformed to the image of Christ. That is your destiny. That's the only way the river flows. If you try to resist it, you're gonna go up against the current, if that makes sense. Okay, so half your body, again, if my half my body's in there, what can you see? Half your body. So I'm now starting to get a little bit better. The water you're seeing covers up the rest of my body, so you're seeing a believer that's half in control, and the other half is controlled by Christ, but not fully controlled. Think about how many Christians you see that are half controlled. They still retain a piece of their will, and yet they'll do certain things over here, like okay, they're submitting to Christ and that, but they still retain half of their abilities. It's still shallow enough for them to turn back when they're in the waist deep. Okay. Now we go to the last phase. The last phase is I go from my waist, which is a symbol of power. The minute I cover up my waist and then I go into the deep, I'm swimming. I lost my feet. I can't use my legs only to swim with the current. And at that point I'm floating with the current. I'm flowing in that direction and I have no control of that direction. I have now what? Surrendered to the direction of the current and I'm just floating along. But only thing you can see to identify me is my head and maybe the top of it. But other than that, you can't see the rest of me. All you can see is the waters that surround me. What is that a symbol of? a believer who's in full maturity, full submission, and surrender to the Lord. And when you see that kind of believer, it's actually the most refreshing thing you have ever seen, because there's hardly any of their old self left. It's just Jesus. And they're completely surrendered. They're completely in the flow of things. They're on the right agenda. They don't have their own agenda anymore. They have given it up. They have surrendered to the current. That, my friends, is what it's stating. It's a picture of salvation with a real supernatural river. And you can see now what it teaches. But it teaches more. Let's read the rest. In Ezekiel 8-10 it says, then he said unto me, this is in your book, the waters issue forth toward the eastern region and shall go forth into the Arabah. And they shall go toward the sea. Into the sea shall the waters go which were made to issue forth. And the water shall be healed. And it shall come to pass that every living creature which swarms in every place whither the river comes shall live. and there shall be a great multitude of fish for these waters are come thither and the waters of the sea shall be healed and everything shall live whithersoever the river comes. And it came to pass that fishers shall stand by it from En Gedi even to En Iglem shall be a place for the spreading of nets." It's talking about the Dead Sea area. En Gedi is on the western side and En Iglem is on the eastern side of the Dead Sea. There are fish shall be after their kinds, as the fish of the great sea exceedingly many." Okay, so now we have another situation. The supernatural ability of the river is now bringing forth life. Okay. So in verse 8, he's basically saying that water goes east, goes into the desert, and basically it heals the waters. It heals the waters. What is it saying symbolically? Again, go back to what the water symbolize. What's the water symbolize? Eternal life. So now you're seeing these waters heal the bad water. Hmm, I wonder what that means. Yeah. So the first aspect of eternal life that works in us is working to do what? It heals the waters, heals the waters, heals the waters. Okay. What came first in the text? Did the healing come first or did the water level come first? Okay, follow that. So I go all the way into my head, then what happens? Healing starts happening. Are you following it? Follow the pattern. As I go into the water and I'm swimming and I give myself up to the current, the fruit of this living water starts healing me. But what's the caveat? I must be on the shore. I must be ankle deep. I must be knee deep. I must be waist deep. I must be all the way in. And if I'm not all the way in, don't expect the healing properties of the water. Because as I surrender fully, only then will I start having the healing aspects that the water produces. So spiritual maturity, not only you conform to Christ, but allows you to start the healing process. Healing from what? Healing from what has happened to us. The sin nature, we call it the flesh, the devil and the world system have attacked you and hurt you in many ways. You have hurt yourself, the devil has hurt you and the world system has hurt you. So those are the three enemies. You have suffered through their attacks. You have been wounded by those attacks and you wounded yourself. Once you surrender and you get into the flow of spiritual maturity, those wounds start to become healed. Because a totally surrendered Christian is doing what kind of work with themselves? They're doing some deep, deep introspection about the things that are making them do what they do. You think someone in ankle-deep water is worried about, why do I sin? They don't. They just don't think like that. Knee deep, waist deep, because they're still controlling life. You have to surrender to say, what in the world is wrong with me? Why do I keep doing this? And in order to do that, you have to be at a certain level spiritually, and then the healing can come from that. Okay, so that's the first thing. Healing comes. What else happens? Verse nine. And it shall come to pass, and everything that moveth whatsoever, the river shall come, shall live. There shall be a great multitude of fish. Every creature is swarms in every place. Whither the river comes, things will be brought back to life. And so all these fish come back to life in the Dead Sea. You ever been in the Dead Sea? There's nothing that lives. Nothing. It's just dead. There's nothing there. But when the water from the throne hits it, all this new life springs back into place. So not only does healing come, but restoration then can start coming. What do you mean? We are in desperate need of restoration. To be restored to what we have lost, guys. And only God has the power to restore us. See, when we take our toll in this life through the devil, the flesh, and the world system, we lose things. We have lost a lot of things in this life. We've lost our integrity, we've lost our character, we've lost our reputation, we've lost everything a lot of times. We've spent our lives. And once you get into these deep waters, restoration then starts occurring. What then would I see? What do you mean things get restored? What's the word restore mean? I'm going to give back to you that which you lost. What the locusts have eaten, I will redeem. What do you mean? And restore means I'm going to restock it. I'm going to redo something and give you your life back to you that you lost. Whether you made stupid moves and lost it, or other people did stupid things against you, or just the world system was bad against you, I'm going to start the process of giving you back your life. And the great thing about this, I will give you back your life in the next life too, a hundredfold, but I'm going to start the process now of restoring your life. But you've got to be in the deep waters. Because I'm not restoring your life if you're in ankle deep water. You'll be saved. You're going to go to heaven. But I'm only going to do it if you're in the deep waters. I'll restore your life. Everything you lost, I will start the process of getting back to you. Have you experienced that? That you got something back that you thought you had lost? Let's go next. Verse 10. And it shall come to pass that the fishers shall stand by it. from Engedi even to Eniglem shall be a place for the spreading of nets." So something's happened. There's no fishermen on the Dead Sea right now today. But if you go to the Dead Sea in the future, in the millennial, there'll be fishermen all over the place. They'll be fishing this whole area. What does that mean? Something has changed. Something has transformed. from a place that there's no fish, there's no fishermen, there's no drying of nets, now there's fish and there's fishermen all over the place, and there's a place for drying of nets, transformation has occurred. I don't know if they're resurrected, but whether it's resurrection or he creates new fish, this river has supernatural ability to create life. So it's one of them. It creates life. So now, the person's life then is transformed. They are no longer the old person. They are what we call, and the Apostle Paul said, a new creation in Christ. They are transformed. and now new things are in their life that they never had. The place of desert and dead sea in their life is now living and things are happening there. And with the fish in the water, there's something there about that. They're fishing the fish out of the water. This transformation has produced something, fruit. The fruit is the fish coming out of the water that the fishermen are taking out, and that's the fruit of the fishing. Their lives have been transformed to where they can produce fruit. Wait a second, I've heard that somewhere. I'll make you fishers of men. I'll make you produce fruit. A tree is known by its fruit, right? Your fruit is what's going to be rewarded. What's the fisherman's reward? The fish, drying their nets, that's the work they're doing. They've actually been transformed in order to do the work of ministry, to do the work that they will be rewarded for. Do you get rewarded for getting into the ankle deep water? No, that's because you've entered in through the sacrifice by the altar. You don't get rewarded for that, because God had to do that. You get rewarded for fishing. You get rewarded for producing fruit because of transformation that must occur, but you only have transformation if you're in the deep waters. Last one, and it's not in your book. I have to read it since verse 11. I don't know why Frutenbaum didn't mention this, but the swamps and the marshes will not be healed. They will be given over to salt. What is that? I'm gonna turn these marshes and mires into salt. What is a picture of when David says that he plucked him from the miry pit? What is that a picture of? What is mire? What is the muck, the mud, the filth? It's sin. The marshes and mire are the sin in that person's life. And we all have it, but it's looked at spiritually as the miry pit. So when David says, you pulled me up from the miry pit, remember he says that in Psalms? He pulled him up out of that miry pit, out of the sin pit, out of the swamp, right? Here's the deal. We're not gonna remove the miry pits. We're going to change them over into salt. What's that about? The marshes are still there in the millennium, but he turns them into something beneficial. He turns them into salt. So the water doesn't get there. He wants them to be salt. Well, that's interesting. What is that? So it's a positive thing. Salt is preservatives, right? You all know that. Salt sustains life. It has purifying properties. And you were called it one time. What did Messiah say about you as a believer? You are what? The salt of the earth. And if the salt loses its saltiness, what good is it other than to be trampled down and trodden underfoot? What's the purpose of the salt in you? Why did he take your muck and mire and turn it into salt? The muck and mire represents your sin, but then I'm gonna turn it into salt. But what does salt do? If the salt loses its saltiness, it's telling you that the function of the salt. It's a purifying, it's a preservative. Basically, it's a witnessing aspect to the unsaved. What's the connection between the salt and the mire? Your stuff that you got involved in, that we all did, I got into it, that muck and mire, if you go into the deep end, that will be transformed to be able to be used as a witnessing tool for you, to be salt and light to a lost world. And what would I communicate with my old sin that's been turned into salt to be a preservative, to be a witness to other people? What would I be doing with that? What am I saying about my own sin? What am I using my own sin for? that they too can be transformed. They too can have their mire turned into salt and transformed. And so if he can save me from my junk and I can get past my junk, so he can do for you. My sin has not been used for salt. The mire has been changed into salt. And so now I give a message of hope to people who say, how could he save me? I've done so bad. I've done so wrong. I've even blasphemed. And yet you're telling me he can rescue me and turn my mire into salt to where I can use it to benefit other people. Yes. If you are willing to open up and share your testimony and not say, well, I was such a good person, then Jesus saved me. No, no, no, that doesn't get anybody. You're gonna say, I'm a dirty, rotten scoundrel. You should have saw me before Christ, how wicked and evil I was. And he transformed this person into something different. Well, that's what I wanna hear. I don't wanna hear that you were goody two shoes and then Jesus saved you at five. That doesn't help me. I want to hear how bad you were, because that's how bad I am. Right? That's how you connect to people. You have to tell them you're junk. I did this. I did that, man. What? Well, if he can save you, he can definitely save me. Right? One more thing. We're not done. Verse 12, and Frutenbaum didn't mention this. Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food. Their leaves will not wither. Their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food and their leaves for medicine. What's that? The trees are growing on the banks. What's that about? Right? Well, all these trees are producing food, fruit, medicine, healing of the nations. Sounds like the new Jerusalem. Yeah, because there's a precursor to the new Jerusalem. Ah, yes, we're onto something. The trees give their crops every month. What is that called? An abundant supply of food, which is symbolized of what? There's an abundance of fruit that you can eat and it heals you and it helps everyone who gets access to these trees. The most powerful witnessing aspect is not just simply my sin has been transformed, but transformed into what? A fruit bearing individual. that they can see the evidence of that fruit. That you're bearing fruit. There's something different about you that I don't see in other people. There's stuff that is occurring in your life that doesn't occur in my life that's almost supernatural. And you just keep producing it. It doesn't stop in you, it just keeps going. And it keeps going, and you just keep producing good things. That, my friends, is what's called the abundant life. The abundant life is when you're in deep waters and you can produce fruit and people see it and they're blessed by it and it's evidenced and they notice it and they're like, man, wow, you produce monthly, you produce weekly. There's an abundance and hence that person is producing fruit and then is rewarded for that fruit. just like the fish are being rewarded. There's a transformation. They produce fruit. The trees are now producing fruit. Everything that they do now is going to be rewarded. So much so that he says, if you give a cold cup to one of my servants, I will reward you like a prophet. I will give you a prophet's reward for assisting someone in ministry with a cup of cold water. Oh, Well, that brings it all together then. So these last aspects are about rewards. Yeah, it focuses, Ezekiel doesn't focus on what happens into the Mediterranean, but he focuses in on what goes on in the Dead Sea, because it's indicative of Israel, okay? And so he's trying to tell Israel, this is what's gonna happen to your waters. But the same thing will occur, not only in the Mediterranean, but the Atlantic, the Pacific, all the oceans will be touched by this water, and the same thing will occur there to heal the nations from the tribulation. So all this water touches all of the globe, it's global, and it heals planet Earth in the millennial kingdom. And so this abundance of life, these fruit bearing trees, it's not just happening in Israel, it's happening all over the world when Messiah lets us happen with his living springs that come about in the millennial kingdom. So it's the whole planet. So the whole planet is returned to how Eden was. It's paradise found.
