The ringleader of the church in the firing of Jonathan Edwards, Joseph Hawley, wrote to Jonathan Edwards to get his reflections on the injustice done to him in his dismissal from his own church from his congregation. Edwards' letter is here with a reproof of the effort to slander and misrepresent him and the passion in which is was carried out.
